No doubt, Yassi Pressman is among loveliest faces in showbiz today. That she is also blessed with curves most women would kill for is just icing on the cake.

Yassi Pressman

In a recent interview with Bulletin Entertainment, Yassi spilled her secret to looking radiant and the first thing she mentioned is her drinking lots of water.

Yassi deemed it a necessity mentioning the long hours she spends under the glare of the spotlight.

She refrains from wearing makeup when not working. She washes her face regularly with soap and water “lalo na sa gabi para when you wake up, fresh ka.” The actress revealed using papaya soap and lotion for her sensitive skin.
She also monitors her food intake.

“You have to really balance everything out,” she said. “Ako kasi mahilig ako sa sweets, sa cheese but I make sure na I balance it out with fruits.”

The most important ingredient to looking beautiful, the actress said, is maintaining a happy disposition.

“Du’n lalabas talaga ’yung glow mo kapag masaya ka sa loob,” she related.

Going places

Yassi is into traveling describing it as something that feeds her soul.

“Basta when I do, I like being surrounded by my friends and sometimes ’yung family ko. That way parang nagba-bonding lang kami.”

She doesn’t mind taking unplanned trips. In fact, she is ready to drive long hours even after work.

“Meron one time na nag-pack up kami ng 3 a.m., tapos by 5 a.m. bumiyahe agad ako to La Union,” she said. “Then there’s this one time na after taping, nagpunta kami ng Subic. Tapos nag ATV (All-terrain vehicle) kami. Sobrang intense at sobrang pagod ako pero sobrang saya.”

Yassi’s favorite place is the beach. “I love the sun, I love the beach basta ’yun ’yung nakakapag-pasaya sa akin,” she said.

Success story

Beautiful, smart and talented, the 22-year-old is among the industry’s most sought after leading ladies.

Doesn’t she feel overworked?

“Hindi naman po, ginusto ko ’to eh,” she said, laughing.

Yassi is grateful for the blessings that come her way, admitting the road to success hasn’t always been easy.

“Napakaraming obstacles, napakaraming challenges. Napakaraming pagkakataon na feeling ko hindi ko na kaya but I have to be strong kasi may mga taong naniniwala na kakayanan ko,” she said, adding her father serves as her number one supporter.

Aside from “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” the actress will also be seen in the upcoming film “Ang Pambansang Third Wheel.”

Yassi hopes to explore dancing and singing, too. “Sana ma-share ko pa po ’yung sa pagkanta ko kasi dati pangarap ko lang sa shower ’yun eh,” she said.
