Voyager Innovations landed four prized trophies at the recently concluded 15th Philippine Quill Awards organized by the International Association of Business Communications (IABC) Philippines.
Voyager’s freenet, the free internet platform which allows users to access the apps and sites of partner brands at no cost, took home an Excellence Award for its 2016 rebranding launch. Voyager Voices, the company’s preferred millennial workplace and employer branding campaign, meanwhile bagged a Merit Award.
Its digital financial services operating arm, PayMaya Philippines bagged an Excellence Award for PayMaya’s #NowNation, a campaign that enabled millennials with instant access to the digital economy, and a Merit Award for Smart Padala’s #PadalapitLang campaign, which communicated the benefits of a trusted and convenient money remittance service.
“Successful communication and public relations programs in support of business objectives indeed make a positive impact in the lives of people and communities. With these citations, we are grateful that the movers and shakers of the PR, marketing and advertising industry, such as a prestigious organization like IABC Philippines, are recognizing the effectiveness of our initiatives,” said Nick Bautista Wilwayco, Associate Director and Head of PR and Communications (VOY) at Voyager Innovations.
The Quill Awards is led by the IABC and celebrates outstanding public relations, marketing, advertising, and brand communication campaigns. Awardees are carefully screened by select communications professionals and a distinguished multi-sectoral panel of jurors. IABC Philippines is the first chapter outside North America of the international IABC, a global network of around 15,500 business communicators in 80 countries.
