UP Los Baños’ Gandingan 2017 honors Kapamilya with 35 trophies

ABS-CBN dominated the Gandingan Awards, the 11th UP Los Banos Isko’t Iska’s Multimedia Awards, by bagging 35 awards for its multi-platform programs including Best Development-Oriented AM Station for DZMM Radyo Patrol 630.

Aside from winning the top award for radio, DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 took home other awards namely, Most Development-Oriented AM Program (Failon Ngayon sa DZMM) and a Special Citation for Most Development-Oriented Radio Drama (Maalaala Mo Kaya sa DZMM “Bandana” episode).

Kapamilya news personalities who also earned Gawad Gandingan’s approval include Ted Failon (Best AM Program Host), Atom Araullo (Best Public Service Program Host), Karen Davila (Gandingan ng Kabuhayan), and Boy Abunda (Best Talk Show Host for The Bottomline).

Other Kapamilya shows that won awards are Umagang Kay Ganda (Best Development-Oriented Morning Show), Matanglawin (Most Development-Oriented Environment Program and Most Development-Oriented Educational Program), My Puhunan (Most Development-Oriented Livelihood Program), and The Bottomline (Most Development-Oriented Talk Show). Adding to this are ABS-CBN entertainment shows and personalities including “MMK,” which bagged two awards (Most Development-Oriented Drama Program and a Special Citation for Most Development-Oriented Gender Sensitive Program).
