Eva has been playing the lead role Kim in the popular musical Miss Saigon. Her experience, however, did not bring her to what could have been her first Tony Award, as outstanding performer Bette Midler triumphed over her and Patti LuPone.

Her luck started when she was only 17 and was chosen to lead the London revival of Miss Saigon after a director discovered her extraordinary talent while she was performing at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards. And now, she’s proving her talent in Broadway.

The Broadway production of Miss Saigon also received a nomination for Best Revival of a Musical. Eva performed a scene from this nominated play and aside from her look, she also enticed people with her wonderful performance as she sang ““I’d Give My Life for You.”

Miss Saigon’s original Kim, Lea Salonga, and Co-star Jon Briones joined the event and introduce the cast who performed the scene with Eva. (With reports from Joanne Estorque/AJPress, Interkasyon)
