One of the Newest Members of the Xperia Flagship Fam Is Here
We first got a look at the Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact at IFA Berlin a couple of weeks back and it looks like one of them has finally reached our shores. Sony Philippines just launched one of the newest members of their flagship family, the Xperia XZ1. As we reported earlier, the Sony will not be making its smaller counterpart available in the country so those looking for the compact version may be a little disappointed.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 is packing some serious heat in the hardware department but may favor those who want all that power in a smaller form factor due to its screen size of 5.2-inches. The main draw for this smartphone, however, is all the features they packed into its camera and the capabilities of its MotionEye Camera System. While it inherits most of these features from the XZ Premium, Sony has also introduced 3D scanning into the mix this year.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 has given a local price tag of Php 39,990 and will be available on October 13.
