SSS continues the traditional Pamaskong Handog for charitable institutions

TEN non-profit organizations that provides education and health assistance to orphans were this year’s recipients of the annual Pamaskong Handog of Social Security System (SSS) officials and employees. Donations amounting to Php 800,000 were given to the selected beneficiaries.  The annual gift-giving activity held last December 20 was led by SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel F. Dooc (7th from left) and Social Security Commission (SSC) Chairman Amado D. Valdez (6th from left), and Senior Vice President for Administration Group May Catherine Ciriaco (5th from left).

The selected beneficiaries included Concordia Childrens’ Services Inc., Friendship Home Father Luis Amigo, Inc., Canossa-Tondo Children Foundation Inc., SOS Childrens’ Viillage, Simbayanan ni Maria Community Foundation Inc., SPECS Foundation Inc., Alouette Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., Bahay Tuluyan, Inc., Haligi ng Bata Inc. and Meritxell Childrens World Foundation Inc. Each of the charitable institutions received P80,000.00 each.
