Singers and other talents sign with GMA Records

GMA Records welcomes Aiai de las Alas, Gabbi Garcia, One Up, Papa Obet, and Kristoffer Martin to their family as they inked separate deals with the Network’s recording arm on Nov. 7 and 8.

To reach a wider audience and relate to the younger generation, De las Alas signed a distribution deal with GMA Records to release her single with the vocal group Ex Batallion. Her single, despite being about the complex and in-depth interpretation of love, boasts a mixture of upbeat sounds and rapping. She explains, “Kumbaga, gusto kong makilala rin ako ng mga millennial, and at the same time ‘yung Ex Battalion, gusto ko rin naman na makilala sila ng fans ko.” This partnership with GMA Records is also her way of reaching her dream of having a hit single, another notch on the belt she is yet to achieve. Her single, “Walang Pinipili,” was released for download and streaming on Nov.19 on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and over 180 digital stores worldwide.

Gabbi Garcia also inks a distribution deal with GMA Records who recently released her debut single “All I Need,” which she wrote. The single was co-produced by Christian Bautista.  “I am glad that my single will be distributed by GMA Records. I’m also thankful to all the people who appreciated my first single.”

Meanwhile, One Up thanks GMA Records for the trust it has given them. The boy band is slated to release “Smile” written, produced and arranged by Kiko Salazar. “Maraming salamat po sa GMA Records sa opportunity. Nagpapasalamat rin kami sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa amin, sa group namin. Sobrang hinintay po namin itong time na ito and finally ito na. Magkakaroon na kami ng single,” says one of their members.

Naging madali ang pag-uusap namin ng GMA Records at talagang tinutulungan nila ako, so nagpapasalamat ako sa kanila na tinanggap nila ‘yung song ko,” the DJ adds. The single will be available for streaming and download on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon and over 180 digital stores worldwide

Lastly, Kristoffer Martin feels very happy to be part of GMA Records’ roster of talented musicians and he looks forward to sharing his music to more audience. “Sobrang saya ko kasi gusto kong i-pursue yung singing career ko talaga kaya I’m thankful to GMA Records for giving me the opportunity to be part of the team. Gusto ko kasi talagang i-share yung music ko sa marami pang tao,” he shares. Kristoffer Martin’s single “Paulit-ulit” is a product of Filscap Songwriting Camp, penned by Jam Ruiz.
