After over five years of tireless work by R&D experts, Shell unveils brand new formulations for its premium Shell V-Power fuels. Shell V-Power is the only fuel co-engineered with and recommended by the iconic Formula 1 race team, Scuderia Ferrari. Shell’s most advanced Shell V-Power fuels are now formulated with its proprietary Dynaflex Technology.

Shell V-Power Racing and Shell V-Power Gasoline fuels target two key factors that can impact engine efficiency and performance —friction and deposits. The new Shell V-Power Diesel is designed to help restore up to 100% of your engine’s performance by removing deposits from fuel injectors.

ENGINE EFFICIENCY AND PERFORMANCE

Just as professional athletes plan their diet, the fuel you put in your car can makes a difference. The new Shell V-Power’s Dynaflex Technology can help restore your engine’s performance by actively removing and preventing the build-up of fuel system deposits and reducing wasted energy.

ACTIVE CLEANING

Modern vehicle engines expose fuels to tougher conditions (e.g. higher pressures and temperatures) more than ever before. This creates potential for performance-robbing deposits to become stuck in key fuel system components such as fuel injector’s nozzle holes and inlet valves of gasoline engines. Since these deposits are not easily removed, they can prevent your engine from performing at its best. The new formulations of the Shell V-Power fuels help improve engine cleanliness by removing deposits that have already formed. The new formulation can remove up to 80 percent of performance-robbing deposits, with the twin effect of improving system condition and restoring lost performance.

FRICTION REDUCTION

The moment you fill up with Shell V-Power Racing or Shell V-Power Gasoline, a protective layer is instantly formed in critical parts of your engine which helps to reduce friction. This is important because friction is wasted energy that could otherwise be used in powering your car. These gasoline fuels are scientifically formulated with the breakthrough Dynaflex formulation, containing new friction-reducing molecules helping engine parts that are difficult for lubricating oils to reach, including the vital area in the engine between the piston ring and the cylinder wall. This, in turn, allows the piston to slide up and down more easily, and improves the performance of the engine — whether you are cruising down the highway or in city traffic.
