The Police Regional Office-MIMAROPA (Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) released Sunday the names of passengers who perished and who were rescued in the sea mishap last Friday afternoon off Barangay Agbudia, Romblon, Romblon.
The fatalities were identified as Anacel Macalipay, Evangeline Cledra, Josephine Motia, Cristelle Jane Hanod, Laudemir Famarin, John Mark Mingo while the three missing passengers were Merly Adriguez, James Mingo and Lauden Ramos.
Superintendent Imelda V. Tolentino, chief of public information office of PRO-MIMAROPA said 50 passengers were rescued from the ill-fated Alad Express 2 which plies the Magdiwang to Romblon route in Romblon.
It sank in Romblon sea due to strong waves and wind at about 1 p.m. last June 9.

Josephus de la Cruz; Rollo Paraiso; Geronimo Maglana; Amor Muchante; Jocelyn Rugas; Alberto Mingo; Sarah Mingo; Erick Reyla; Armando Morada;Jannette Cruz;
Luisito Manes; Arthus Acayang; Gener Royo; China Romero; Jean Francisco; Cristine Rodelas; Eric Madrona; Jaylord Talde; Cherry Mendezebal; Jade Taladtad.
The rescued passengers who were not included in the manifest were identified as Raymundo Cometa; Jenepher Marin; Fatima Marin; Julio Robiso; and Fierry John Villanueva.
Boat captain Napthalie Molina and his crew members, Romano Montojo, Herbert Alcantara and Ricky Mariveles were also rescued.
Personnel of and Romblon Municipal Police Station are still in the area searching for the three missing persons.
