JBK, composed of Joshua Bulot, Bryan del Rosario, and Kim Lawrenz Ordonio, earned praises with their soulful rendition of Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” during the second round of the show’s audition in London.

The audition clip of JBK was uploaded on YouTube and it has already garnered almost three hundred thousand views, becoming one of the most trending videos worldwide as of this writing.

“We flew all the way from the Philippines. We arrived yesterday after a 24-hour flight,” they said to the judges during the interview.

“X Factor UK” judge and half-Filipina Nicole Scherzinger said, “You are making all Filipinos proud right now.”
Judge Louis Walsh added, “I love your dedication, flying from the Philippines, it was good.”

JBK is the second Filipino group to pass the auditions, after girl group 4th Impact who finished fifth in the 12th season of “X Factor UK” in 2015.

On being compared to the girl group, JBK said on their official Facebook page, “Honored to be compared to 4th Impact and we hope to bring the Philippines as much pride as they did two years ago. We are humbly asking for everyone’s support… Thank you.”

JBK gained huge notice in 2015 after they were declared one of the three grand champions in “Dream Get Real: The Search For The Next OPM Star,” a singing competition organized by McJim Classic Leather.

The trio is responsible for the hits “Letting You Go,” “Damang-Dama,” and “Anong Meron Ka?,” among others.
