‘I don’t really mind the online bashers anymore dahil hindi naman mawawala ’yan.

It’s the 27-year-old beauty queen’s first movie since 2006’s “All About Love” and she is excited about it.

“I’ve always wanted to go back to acting, to try again. I’ve been doing this since I was a kid so now that they want me to do another one – and it’s a comedy pa, I feel like I’m a naturally very funny person naman – I took the opportunity right away,” she told Bulletin Entertainment.

Pia said “The Revengers” is going to be a superhero film.

She is not worried at all relating how her co-star Vice Ganda assured her he “will guide and take care” of her.

“I think I’m in safe hands,” Pia said.

This early, Pia looks forward to attending the traditional MMFF parade, vowing to enjoy it to the hilt.

“Hindi ako mapapagod sa pagkaway,” she promised.

On Maureen

Pia opened up about speculations that she supposedly wielded influence over the win of Filipina-German model Maureen Wroblewitz on “Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5.”

Pia appeared as one of the judges on the show’s finale.

“I guess coincidence lang na I was one of the judges when she won,” she said. “The decision was unanimous, everybody wanted her to be the Asia’s Next Top Model. We all agreed that she was the best one out of all the girls.”

Pia has posted on Instagram a heartfelt and empowering message for Maureen.

“Stunning. A well deserved win. A girl who was doubted for having the least modeling experience, for being soft spoken, for being one of the shortest girls in the competition and being called ‘just a pretty face.’ You have proven them all wrong and now you are Asia’s Next Top Model. Congratulations, Maureen. You have taught us that even when the odds are against you, if your will power to win is strong, you can come out victorious,” she wrote.

Ask how she handles the bashers, Pia said: “I don’t really mind them anymore dahil hindi naman mawawala ’yan.”

The beauty queen was present at SM Mall of Asia where Huawei recently reopened its doors.

Pia, the brand’s newest brand ambassador, met with the store’s first five customers, who also won exclusive merchandise such as travelling bags, and shirts.
