Northeast monsoon, tail end of cold front affecting Luzon » Manila Bulletin News

The northeast monsoon affects northern and central Luzon while the tail end of a cold front prevails in the eastern section of Southern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).



With the tail end of a cold front, the Bicol region, eastern Visayas and Quezon province will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Aurora province will be cloudy with scattered rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon and the Southern Tagalog area will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains also due to the northeast monsoon.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas and the island provinces of Southern Tagalog (MIMAROPA) will be partly cloudy and sometimes cloudy with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

The coastal waters in Northern Luzon and eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon will be rough to very rough.

In the Visayas region and the rest of Luzon coastal water will be moderate and sometimes rough while in Mindanao the waters will be slight to moderate.
