How to Slay in Florals Like an Olsen Twin

Recently, the Olsen twins got invited to be bridesmaids at the wedding of friend Cassie Coane. Gasp! Did they give in to color-coordinated dresses? Of course not, as the wedding’s theme gave freedom to the entourage to wear what they wished as long as they keep to the floral theme.

Not only did the ever-stylish Mary-Kate and Ashley follow the dress code but they made yet another fashion statement. Mary-Kate was in a satin, kimono-inspired mini-dress, paired with Balenciaga mules. On the other hand, Ashley wore a long sleeveless dress in black, accented by white embroidery.

This style lesson got us on the hunt for similar dresses we too could wear at an upcoming wedding or just to simply prove that florals are good to have in your wardrobe arsenal.

Mango Printed Off-Shoulder Dress

For something that can both go casual with sandals and be dressed up in heels, go for this delicate dress in white featuring blue flowers. Available at SM Megamall.

Zalora Collection Layer Fluted Dress Sleeve Dress

Take a cue from the flowy silhouettes that’s a constant on the runway, and don this dress by Zalora. It’s comfortable and easy to wear for any occasion given its dark blue color. Available online.

Marks and Spencer Floral Print Ruffle Maxi Dress

Given the vivid color scheme of this dress, I can see this to be the best option for a poolside cocktail party. It’s then a must-pack for your next tropical getaway. Just don’t forget a pair of nude slides. Available online.

Zara Floral Print Dress

If you don’t want to do the usual ultra-feminine look, opt for this bright green shirt dress. You can pair over pants for a casual vibe during colder weather aside from wearing it as is during a brunch out. Available at Greenbelt 5.
