Its original headquarters, a 36-year-old edifice along Quezon Avenue near the corner of Timog Avenue undergo renovation for the next three years to update the offices and to withstand strong quakes.

Quezon City revenue region has jurisdiction over wide areas of Metro Manila, including cities and towns of Rizal Province.

Revenue Regional Director Marina de Guzman said the new address is more spacious and more convenient for taxpayers to do business and with adequate parking spaces.

The Cubao revenue district office is also relocated there.

Region 7 is one of the few field offices of the BIR which hit their monthly collection targets during the first five months of the year. San Juan City district recorded the highest seven percentage increase compared to target among the eight other district offices comprising the regional office.

Records showed the revenue region garnered P60.8 billion from January to May, or P8.5 billion more, compared to the actual collection for the same period last year.
