G-Dragon will be in Manila in September for his solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Big Bang leader kicked off his second solo world tour titled “2017 World Tour: Act III, M.O.T.T.E” on June 10 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, South Korea’s second largest stadium.
YG Entertainment announced that Manila has been added to the tour along with Jakarta, Indonesia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Taipei, Taiwan; and Hong Kong.
G-Dragon’s solo concert will cover 24 cities and territories consisting of 12 in Asia, eight in North America and four in Oceania.
After his Seoul concert, G-Dragon held the tour in Macau on June 17 and 18 and to be followed by Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand.
In North America, he will tour San Jose and Inglewood, California; Houston, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; Miami, Florida; New York City, New York; and Toronto, Canada. He will also go to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in Australia, Auckland in New Zealand, and Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo in Japan.
At the Seoul concert, G-Dragon performed the five songs in his new album as well as his past songs including “Heartbreaker,” “Breathe” and “A Boy.”
The tour was launched in Seoul two days after G-Dragon released his fourth solo album “Kwon Ji Yong,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts and No. 192 on Billboard 200.
“Kwon Ji Yong” also achieved a “perfect all-kill” status for topping real-time, daily and weekly Korean music charts and it sold more than one million copies in China.
G-Dragon’s first world tour was “One of A Kind” held in nine countries in 2013.
