Kevin Belingon of Team Lakay is riding the crest of a three-fight winning streak following a loss to Bantamweight titleholder Bibiano Fernandes.

Belingon captured a lot of attention in his last match, knocking out Reece McLaren in just over a minute in the first round. McLaren is the same fighter who pushed Fernandes to the limit, eventually losing via split decision.

After that convincing win, Belingon was hoping to get another match against Fernandes.

“The Silencer” is set to face undefeated Korean-American fighter Kevin “Old Boy” Chung at “One Championship: Legends of the World” happening this Nov. 10 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

A victory not only extends Belingon’s winning streak to four but could also be his ticket for another crack at Fernandes and his title.

Odds look to favor Belingon mainly because of his cage experience. However, he remains cautious and respects Chung before looking beyond.

“I respect him as a fighter pero iyon nga, sa akin, gusto ko mag-champion kaya dapat manalo talaga.
