MANILA – A candid Arci Munoz couldn’t stop talking about her love scene with actor Gerald Anderson in their upcoming Star Cinema movie “Can We Still Be Friends.”
At a press conference on Monday, Munoz cheerfully shared how she “took advantage” of Anderson during the scene to the point that she told their director not to cut immediately.
Munoz said Anderson’s lean physique is very distracting that she needed to take a shot of liquor to have the courage to do the love scene with him.
Parang ayaw ko matapos,” she jokingly quipped.
Despite this, the two managed to pull it off. According to Munoz, this just goes to show how comfortable she and Anderson are with each other.
“Kami ni Ge, he’s such a gentleman. Komportable kami hanggang ngayon. Wala namang nagbago. Happy set kami,” she said.
Meanwhile, Anderson said he is flattered to have someone like Munoz say all those good words about him.
Siya talaga ang dahilan,” he said.
“Can We Still Be Friends” is the second movie together of Anderson and Munoz.
The film tracks the development of the relationship of Digs (Anderson) and Sam (Muñoz) from being lovers, to exes, to friends.
The upcoming Star Cinema movie is directed by Prime Cruz and will be released in theaters nationwide on June 14.
Anderson and Muñoz first worked together in the romantic-comedy film “Always Be My Maybe,” which was released in February last year.
