Angel Locsin doesn’t mind lending support to the well-loved tandem of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla on “La Luna Sangre.”

“Any opportunity na makapagbigay ako ng suporta sa mga bagong generation ng artista, okay naman po ako doon,” she explained in an interview.

“La Luna Sangre” is the third installment of ABS-CBN’s horror-fantasy drama series that started with “Lobo” in 2008, then “Imortal” in 2010.

Angel appeared as lead star on both shows. She was also seen in the first few episodes of “La Luna Sangre” before her character, Lia, was killed off.

She returns to the show as Jacintha Magsaysay, a political strategist.

Sabi nga nila, this is a fantaserye, anything can happen,” she added.

Is her character one of the good guys?

Kasi nakakapagod din ’yung parang parati kang straight up good guy.

Will she do stunts on the series?

Angel related, “Sabi nila magkakaroon.

She had undergone surgery for an injury but Angel maintained she’s now physically fit to do action routines.
Ngayon siguro may pakialam na ako,” she said.

Working anew with Richard Gutierrez via the show is welcome news for Angel as “iba ’yung komportable ka nang katrabaho.”

“La Luna Sangre” is going head-to-head with good friend Marian Rivera’s forthcoming soap on a competing network.

Asked to comment about it, Angel said, “Wala naman kaming pakialam sa ganoon.
