Camp Olivas, Pampanga- Eight suspected drug personalities were arrested and illegal drugs were confiscated from them during a series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by police authorities in Bataan, Bulacan and Pampanga under the “Double barrel reloaded” program of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Reports received by Chief Supt. Aaron Aquino, Region 3 PNP director, said that in Orion, Bataan, Michael Javier of Barangay Bagumbayan was collared by the police led by Chief Insp. Marlo Dangarang in a buy-bust operation.
Also arrested were suspects Jeffrey Juanta y Bonifacio and David Benjamin, residents of Riverside, Barangay Balsik, Hermosa, during an anti-drug operation conducted by Chief Insp. Emiliano dela Cruz.
“The drug-pushing activities in these municipalities were reported by the Sumbong Bilis Monitoring Team (SBMT) and then a buy-bust operation was conducted, resulting in the arrest of the suspects,” said Sr. Supt. Benjamin Silo Jr., Bataan police director.
In Bulacan, operatives of Sta. Maria PNP, in coordination with PDEA 3, conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Clara, Santa Maria, which resulted in the arrest of two suspects identified as Randy Baril and Ryan Baril, both residents of said place.
Confiscated from the suspects were 11 small sachets of suspected shabu, one Honda TMX motorcycle without plate number, illegal drugs paraphernalia and the marked money.
Meanwhile, operatives of San Jose Del Monte PNP, in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority(PDEA) 3, conducted a buy-bust operation in Verde Heights, Barangay Kaypian, which resulted in the arrest of Isnairah Macaombao of Dasmariñas, Cavite and confiscation of six small sachets containing suspected shabu, assorted illegal drugs paraphernalia and the marked money.
In a related development, operatives of Sto. Tomas PNP in Pampanga conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Vicente, Sto. Tomas, which resulted in the arrest of Ericson Puyat and Vevine Puyat and seizure of 10 small sachets of suspected shabu, cash amounting to P240, one Nokia 105 cellular phone and the marked money.
Double Barrel Reloaded is continuously being implemented to eradicate all forms of illegal drugs in the region aside from the anti-criminality efforts being done by the entire Central Luzon police force to ensure public safety and security, Aquino said.
