Another buy-bust operation by operatives from Caraga Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA 13) also led to the arrest of suspects Geldred Delos Santos and Mico Dumapig in Barangay Bading, Butuan City, he said.

“Upon sensing that his customer was our poseur buyer, Dumapig tried to exchange fire using his loose firearm but the undercover agent retaliated. He was then brought to the hospital due to his gunshot wound while his cohort, Delos Santos, was also arrested from the crime scene,” said Felix.

The newly identified drug suspects yielded 16 grams of shabu with street value of P188,000 and a caliber .38 revolver,  Felix said.
